    Is Condom a Birth Control device

    Hi, I have a problem about the condom about birth control and prevent unwanted diseases. Please give your views.

    Condoms are 86% effective birth control method. Meaning out of 100 couples having sex for a year with condoms as the only birth control method about 14 will end up with pregnancy. Condoms also stop many diseases but not all. There are more effective birth control but they do not stop diseases.

      The above statistic is correct because it accounts of people not using them correctly. I think when used correctly, it's closer to 98% effective in preventing pregnancies.
