How long must you wait to have sex when you start your second pack? or does the birth control already have effect still?

No, as long as you've taken one entire pack of pills the correct way, you are okay. I believe you're supposed to use a backup method for the first seven to fourteen days of the first pack of pills. -
Make sure only to take a 7 day break for your period in between packs. Any longer than that and your next pack will be inefective for the first week or two.Comment
