coming off the pill
here it goes i started my new pack of pills after my 7 day break an i took 2 days worth and then stopped. i stopped because lately its been makin me feel like an i want my bodie to go bk 2 its natural self without all those chemicals. the thing is i started bleeding 3 days ago now and i am worried that this will go on for ages as iv read elsewhere this is a possibilty. so wat i would like to ask is could i be bleeding for the next month and if i were start taking it agen purely to stop the bleeding would this work. any help im grateful for thanks -
A few days after comming off the pill it is normal to bleed, even though you have just had a period recently. There is no reason to think it will go on for ages.
Your body may take a while to adjust to the pill not being in your system and not being on the pill you can expect heavier periods as one of the things the pill does is thin the lining of your uterus (the blood).
Don't worry prematurely.

coming off kariva
I have been on Kariva for about two years now (i think) and was on the depo shot for 2 years before that. I decided to stop taking the pill a few weeks ago mid pill cycle because I was traveling and forgot the pill. I had a period while i was still on the pill (like May 8th), then took the pill as scheduled for a week, before stopping. A few days later I had a period again (May 18th). Not counting the period the 18th I should have had a period on June 5th if my cycle was 28 days as it was on the pill. Anyone know how long it takes to become regular again. I have also been bloated now for weeks which makes me feel like i am pregnant (not that I've been pregnant before but i did take a pregnancy test and it was negative). It's just sort of annoying because i feel like i should be taking a pregnancy test every week to make sure I detect it in time to stop some bad habits (like drinking an occasional glass of merlot, my morning coffee and constant diet soda drinking). Does anyone have advice. Does fertility coincide with loss of some of these side effects like bloating?Comment
