      Birth Control

Ok...so I think I've mentioned before that I work in a pharmacy. Well, I asked the pharmacist who said that the "older" birth controls had HIGH hormone levels which was not very good for those who took the medicine for long periods of time. However, the "newer" birth controls have rather low hormone levels and are much safer. That is why it is most likely that it is ok to take these medicines for longer periods of time and it should not affect or is not known to affect the ability to have children in the future. However, I would advise you to personally consult with a professional just to be sure!!!

Some birth control methods can induce infertillity. One that I know of is Depo Provera. It can (possibly) cause progesterone deficiency and cause what is called "progesterone infertillity". That is often reversable by hormone therapy. I am not sure if other BC can cause those types of things.

My personal opinion is that the birth control that completely stops ovulation and periods is bad for you. It puts your body into a state that mimics menopause. Your ovulation and hormones are vital to your bodies natural processes and growth. Women in menopause have a lot of problems and most times need medication to cope. I personally do not agree with birth control. I think it is a health hazard. But then again, that is only my opinion.

I have a question and not quite sure how it works. I really need some advice to the fact that i am really scared. I want to be able to go to college and graduate like any other person. My question is..is that i have been on birth control for a while now maybe a year at least. First starting off i was doing fine taking them on time and everything. But recently i have been missing pills and soon as i remember i take the ones i miss (no more than 3) and use back ups.. Well just recently my boyfriend ejaculated inside of me.. and i took 5 all at once so that i wont become pregnant. Will that work or would i have to try another method?.. I even tried pushing it out and cleaning my insides wit tissue.. What should i do someone please help!!!
