    nuva ring...irritation

I have been on the nuva ring for going on 4 years....never had an issue. Yesterday I noticed some irritation down there and to my surprise my ring was pretty far down in my vag. not far enough to come out but i figured possibly that's what's contributing to my irritation. i also noticed that the ring is pretty unflexible-- if that's even a word. and i've noticed that that occurs usually a week or a few days before the ring is supposed to come out.
it's not due to come out for another 2 weeks....has anyone ever noticed this "unflexibility" before?
    thanks in advance!

Not as you describe no...I did try the nuvo ring for two months and I did not like it at all.
It works for some, but for those who are a little sensitive down there, its not the best.

well i answered my own question. it turns out i was a little dry down there. i took a tampon application and took the tampon out and put the nuvaring in it's place. then i used some lube and inserted the ring like a tampon. worked like a charm. no more irritation and the ring is back where it should be! yay!!
