Male getting brazilian wax for charity, needs advice.

    Hi, everyone.

I signed up for a charity waxing event recently, $25.00 with all money going to children's charities. I will be getting waxed at the end of January, so I have plenty of time to prepare/panic.

I have had other waxing done: eyebrows, legs, basic bikini, and get my underarms done regularly- but this will be an entirely new experience!

I asked a couple of female friends for advice, but couldn't get a straight answer out of either of them.

Any and all advice/information I can get will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

      Thanks, sourpuss!

It was informative, though I am a little scared after reading that home-waxing-gone-wrong story! I guess taking ibuprophen before hand does make sense, since it is an anti inflammatory as well as pain killer.

One of the things I was told, is that the hair should be no longer than 1/2 an inch when I go to get it done. This being said, what is the best/easiest/safest way to trim the hair? I don't trust myself with scissors at the best of times, never mind south of the border...

Google "charity waxing", it happens more often than you would imagine.

          Better than shaving my head...
