A friend of mine has done laser hair removal and she says it was extremely painful, she was swollen for a few days after and it made her hair go blond instead of dark brown... She has an easier time with shaving now, but isn't convinced if it was completely worth it, she had higher expectations.
I want to try IPL on my legs this winter, because the hair is extremely bushy and I don't habe high expectations, but I'd be happy if I didn't grow back more black leg hair than a man in two-three days... -
People can do as they wish but they should seriously examine who they are doing all of the shaving or waxing for. If they are doing it for men in their lives, they should know that some men prefer that but others either don't care or would prefer it not to be done, especially if it takes a lot of effort. My wife, who is from Thailand, has never shaved her legs. She has short, fine, soft black hairs on them that aren't very thick. From shaving my face completely most of my adult life, I am happy that she doesn't have that chore. Shaving seems to make hairs grow faster and thicker. I'm not sure if quitting shaving would make the hairs revert to their original state after a while but I know some women quit as they get older and end up with softer hairs that quit growing so fast after a while.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
