Needing some advice, very confused :(

    Hello everyone

Just joined and this is my first post. i apologise now for the long post but whats happening to me has been going on for a while now but i thought i would post this here as i am in need of some advice. anyway, towards the end of october i started to get period pains out of no where, i am on the pill and i wasnt due on my period till the following week, i felt a bit dizzy with it but i am not sure if that was due to being tired as that happens sometimes and i didnt feel right in myself so i went to the doctor and PID was mentioned, so he did some swabs and gave me Doxyciline to take for 2 weeks. i took the pills and the period pains went after a while, i got my results and my swabs were clear so they did them again just to make sure, again they all came back clear. i finished the pills and during this time i had pains in my ovaries and painful boobs which touch wood have now gone, i went back to the doctor for a follow up and she said my cervix was red and there was a lot of discharge up there which i did think i could feel, the discharge is white and odourless, i did a ph test on it and its normal 4.0. she gave me norolfaxacin to take which i am on now but tonight i am having some period pains and i am really scared as i dont know what is happening to me. i have also noticed i had 2 bumps on my cervix (i check it now and again for abnormalities) and tonight i checked it again after about 2 weeks and i dont have anymore lumps but they have increased in size. i have an appointment at the hospital on tuesday to be investigated but i was just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this, i am so scared i cant stop crying i am so sad about it all. i have always have checks done, only been in a couple of relationships and generally looked after myself but this is all still happening to me

    thank you for reading

        Scan

To follow up on things, i had a scan done last week. whilst she was doing it she talked me through it. she said my uterus was the normal size and shape, my ovaries were the normal size and no cysts on them, there was no fluid in the uterus and the lining was thin as its supposed to be, nothing is inflammed so what is going on?! xx

Well, that's good news! Hmmm.....I'm not sure. It sounds like everything checked out ok. What symptoms r u still having? Sometimes, it's good to get a 2nd opinion or just go back in & keep asking ?'s. Take care & keep us posted,k.

Well i am on the pill and just had my period which was normal, it came slightly earlier and had a bit more pain leading up but i thought maybe thats because i have been on 7 weeks of antibiotics and i ran my last pack of pills together to stop that period. i am still having a bit of pelvic pain sometimes now, i am so confused though. i am also scared that if it was an infection i have read my chances are higher of getting it again and that i probably will
