help! i dont know whats going on!

hello, as usual im having trouble with my period. this month is quite unusual from the others, i started spotting blood last tuesday and until now its still on going. thing is, in previous months, ive spotted a week before my period but the discharge was brown, but now its blood. today marks the one week of spotting, i dont know if its my period already, its blood discharge but tha mount is very little. like i only really see it when i use the toilet... what does this mean? is this normal that its been a week and my so called period is not heavy like a normal one?? and whats the deal with the spotting of blood?? anyone experience this ever?? help!

are you on the pill? i had this when i was on a pill that didnt suit me so i changed and it stopped. it might also be worth going to the doctor for a chat about it. may also be just hormonal.

are you in a lot of pain and do you have a fever at all? i would try not to worry too much because sometimes that can make you feel worse and makes the periods a bit screwy

nope no pain at all. actually i wouldnt even know i had it if i didnt look. i thought my period got screwed up coz a week ago i had a virus and i was really sick. i had a 39.5 temperature but i got it before i started spotting. like i got the spotting 3 days after i got the fever, i dont think it has a connection since the fever subsided after 4 days.. the doctor told me i had a virus.. but in present nothing hurts and i dont have fever..

if you are not feeling any pain or fever from it then i wouldnt worry too much for now as sometimes that can make it worse anyway but if it does keep bothering you have a chat with your doctor for some reassurance
