Hi I need some important feedback...

I just got my period yesterday. Every time i insert a tampon, i have excruciating pain. I never experience this before and i have been using tampons for several years. When I replace it with a pad, i have a little relief but not much. im not sure if this pain is associated with just my period or it is a bigger problem...please help!!

If it's intense pain out of no where, I'd guess that it could be serious.
Make an appointment with a gyn as soon as possible. Could be nothing, but it's better to know for sure.

Tampons can be a pain - pun intended. If you are a little prolapsed they can be tricky to insert. I found some applicator types easier than others. Get into the doc and see what is going on, better safe than sorry.
