I wrote a thread on this a year or so ago:

Hope it helps you. Just relax and go with the flow; tell your nurse it's your first checkup and she should walk you through everything.

I usually can't get an appointment until at least 2 weeks after I call unless it's a "problem" visit. But your doctor may be different. You can schedule it after when you think you're going to get your period if you want to. Ask the receptionist when you call; I'm sure they've heard it all.

              You are fortunate

You have a great mom, this being her reaction to you having sex at 14.

She can be in there if you want her to be, and most obgyn's are kind and gentle. It's a bit weird no matter how many times you go, but it's way better than not going and dealing with the consequences.

He or she will ask you questions, which you should be honest in your answers, and then they will do a physical exam with gloved and libricated fingers of both your vagina and rectum. If you experience any discomfort, let them know. It is all done in about 2 minutes, and like I already said, is better than not going at all.
