Pantyliners can cause all sorts of problems, the worst offenders are the ones that claim to have a "super abosbent top sheet or core" as these leach too much fluid away from the body and the waxy top they put on lots of them now has chemicals in it that can easily irritate delicate skin. I think it must be men who design these things!! Wearing a pantyliner all the time doesn't let the skin breathe either so makes us more prone to yeast and bacterial infections and there's also some speculation about whether they contribute to utis too. I'd say only wear one during light days of your period and don't wear them at other times, try and wear cotton underwear and sleep with no underwear.
