Pain in lower abdomen during sex

    Hi there,

A couple of months ago I started feeling really sore in my lower right hand abdomen when I was ovulating, it even took me a while to go to sleep because it was so uncomfortable. Last month when I was having sex with my boyfriend I experienced a really sharp pain in my lower right hand abdominal region. We had to terminate the intercourse. It was painful/ uncomfortable on the right hand side when I walked the next day but then it was gone. Since I've experienced intermittent discomfort, and this week again it was painful on 2 occasions during intercouse.

Has anyone experienced this, or know anyone with similar exprerience? Thoughts on what it could be?

    Many thanx

I had the same problem. I went to my doctor and told her I had this horrible pain during sex sometimes on my right side of my stomach. She told me that women take more to become aroused and that my boyfriend needed to take his time and I needed to let myself get more prepared to have sex... sort of like warmed up. I know how stupid that sounds, but I have not had the pain since she told me that. She said its just that my body wasn't prepared to have sex and he needed to take his time and make me get into it more. Haha Sorry I was trying not to be too graphic, but really it did help alot and I dont get the pains anymore.
