My menstrul cycle and the reason why i signed up here.

    Hey im new here!

And basically, i hate my menstrual cycle.

I personally dont think its normal. Its not the "average" 28 day and I would much prefer it to be. Much easier for me to predict ovulation and IT..and kind of feel normal.

Its sometimes 32 - sometimes 35 or over which means I might not be ovulationg and I hate having to wait for it and not know when exactly it will start. My sister and mom have a 28 day cycle and theirs is pretty much perfect.

I was wandering if any herbs could help shortern the cycle to 28 day, and HELP WITH THE PAIN TOO.

I heard about dong quai. I wasnt sure if its suitable for me - I mean I do end up having a period a month eventually but just not between 24-35 days.

For example on march the 26th it started and the started again on april the 26th and now its may the 29th and I still havent started. Its so annoying. I just wish I could be normal 28 day.

MY question is : Do you think dong quai will help me get a normal 28 cycle, reduce cramps and improve ferility. Yes i do want a child soon.

Diet can have a effect. Get a copy of, The Woman's Advantage Diet, and read the first couple chapters where the doc explains why and how he developed this diet and how it works. It maybe what you are looking for.

When I was younger and had an established cycle, I could alter it just by deciding to. It is a moon cycle and there were times when I decided I prefered to menstrate on the dark to the new moon rather than the full and within a couple months my cycle would have shifted. I would use ginger root tea to nudge it along but mostly I just decided it would happen. The point is you have more control over your body than you may think you do. Check out the diet, it works with the changing hormone levels through your cycle and just may do the trick for you.
