i was hoping someone could help me. I'm 27 years old and i've noticed over the past week that there is a odor coming from my vagina. This has NEVER happened. I go to work and im fine but half way into the day, i can start to smell it when i move. My guess is if i can, others can. I do have my period so maybe thats it but again, this has never happened before. I'm so embarrassed.

Im a very clean person and wash every day. So I don't understand why this is happening.

Does anyone have any sudgestions? I dont have insurance and I cant really afford to see a gyno.

Do you have any irritation with this? It could be an infection beginning. Do you have a county run STD clinic in the area? They can usually check for general infections too at a minimal cost.

What is your menstral cycle like this time round, if it is heavier than usual, darker blood than usual, your body may be self cleaning to the extreme this month, you may have had a stressful month.

Sexual smell, we can smell on ourselves and others can too, it's natural, but as your on your period, I'm guessing naturally this is not the smell, rather, heavier bleeding, more iron perhaps.

Why don't you hang about and see what next months is like whilst also keeping your stress levels down, providing there aren't any other noticable problems, in addition that your experiencing.
