6/1/19 ... To Jess2112: Im an RN, BS, who happens to have a whole host of "uro-gyne" (pronounced "GUY-knee") diseases. Im so sorry for what has happened to you. I realize that your situation AND your post are now 10 yrs old. I do hope u have been able to receive COMPETENT treatment by now. If not, I hope what I post can help. I can only guess that you directly damaged your PUDENDAL NERVE. But I find it hard to believe that you actually damaged/severed/"killed" your ENTIRE Pudendal nerve just by slam-cramming the small, exposed external glans of your 4" clitoris. With that I ask, "Have you or a partner tried "stimulating the 2 "legs" of your clit?" Have you or a partner tried stimulating the 2 bulbs of your clit?" The clit encompasses a woman's entire crotch/"saddle" area & for most & ... out of habit, ignorance & laziness, is "largely responsible for pleasurable feelings during foreplay & sex," states on expert. Because the entire bifurcated clit is located just under the skin & very close to the surface, touching, stroking, massaging, etc, ANY part of the crotch where that 4" long organ lays should be extremely pleasurable. If you can STILL feel pleasure or at least SOMETHING in that area when it is touched ... there is hope. Have you seen a SPECIALIST, not just a generic OB-GYN? Have you been Rx'd VIAGRA? How about PELVIC FLOOR PT? Also .... are u now experiencing severe urethral pain, stinging, burning before, during & after you pee & overall unbearable urethral pain 24/7? If ALL of that area is dead/numb & u feel nothing or u now feel only excruciating pain ... then your Pudendal nerve maybe gone forever or permanently damaged. BUT! ..... I would refuse to accept this without getting ALL the appropriate high-tech tests/scans done & getting a MINIMUM of at least 3 different SPECIALISTS opinions!! In a woman there are 3, yes, 3 SEPARATE nerves that are responsible for orgasms: the Pudendal, Vagus & Hypogastric. The bifurcated, 4" long clitoris is primarily innervated by the Pudendal nerve & affects the ENTIRE EXTERNAL crotch region & somewhat beyond - the bladder, urethra, pelvic floor & the rectum. The internal G Spot or G ZONE (which is part of the clitoris) is also innervated by the Pudendal nerve. but [the G-spot and the clitoris] are interconnected and go to the pudendal nerveAs mentioned, the ENTIRE length of the clitoris, including it's bulbs (which encase the vagina), can be easily stimulated externally, either manually or orally. If that area "no longer works" or u just want to spice things up a bit .... there is a handy back up provided by both the VAGUS & HYPOGASTRIC NERVES. The cervix & the "A & P fornices", the areas directly below the cervix, are innervated by the BOTH these nerves. As a result, upon CORRECT stimulation, those orgasms are deeper, more intense & SYSTEMIC, or body-wide. If you've had ALL THE PROPER &
??????THOROUGH TESTS DONE & see a neuro-uro-gynecologist, then it seems to me as if you've experienced to something similar a spinal cord injurty. So, your sexual focus needs to be primarily on the areas that are NOT innervated by the Pudendal nerve. You need to focus on those areas innervated by the Vagus & Hypogastric nerves, because they both bypass the spinal cord. Many women with spinal cord injuries have been told that they would never orgasm again. However, after re-education, they have actually enjoyed deeper orgasmic pleasure courtesy of the vagus nerve. Author & sexologist Beverly Whipple studied cervical/sub-cervical orgasms of women with spinal cord injuries & found that the same areas of the brain were activated in women both with & without SCI when stimulating the cervix or sub-cervix region (the A & P fornices) . ××× I highly recommend you contact EVERY WOMEN'S sexual dysfunction clinic in the US (Im NOT kidding) & find a specialist who is willing to work with you & give you back not just your "sex life," but also give you an AWESOME one! You may have to travel out of state ... but speaking from personal miserable experience - QoL (quality of life) is EVERYTHING. You need to see a neuro-uro-gyne, one board certified in NEUROLOGY! They do exist. The Mayo Clinic is excellent. So are Johns Hopkins, Stanford Med School, UCLA, ****Dr Jennifer Berman, Los Angeles, CA, **** Scripps in San Diego, CA, St Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ. There are MANY more listed on the net that deal SUCCESSFULLY with issues like yours.
It would be so great if you could give us all an update .... even if it is a negative, depressing one. 10 yrs have passed & we are FINALLY coming out of the Dark Ages of Women's/Gyn Care. There are more options out there for you now than you realize.Last edited by Ashlee T.; 06-01-2019, 03:31 PM. Here are a few links you may find encouraging: outbound links removed.
removed outbound links (all 3 sites also heavily address chronic clitoral problems in general such as chronic pain, burning, stinging, aching, throbbing, clitoral "deadness," dysfunction, anorgasmia, etc, etc. (All of this is called Pudendal Neuralgia. "Fun stuff.")
