No Period after purposely skipping last month
I am religious about taking my birth control. I haven't been more than an hour late since I've been on it...which is almost 4 months. Last month I had a special event and just started the next pack instead of taking the sugar pills. This month I am having cramping and moody, but still no period? My boyfriend & I also use condoms EVERY TIME so I highly doubt that it's pregnancy. Anyone else have this experience? -
many people dont think about it but skipping those dead pills is not good. They are there for a reason. If you were on a prescription and you skipped a week of pills, would it help the problem you are having? Birth control was not designed so you can control your period in all areas. You could be cramping because your body was prepared to for a period but you stopped it by starting a new pack. Cramping could be from blood build up or uterine wall build up. No you do not need a period when you are on bc because the bc is made to stop ovulation. Chances are you wont get a period until you next week of dead pills. Just remember when you are on bc, its your job to take each pill everyday, not skip a week because having a period that week doesn't work well for you.
