Hello there!

I am a 20 year old with an issue. I have been experiencing brown discharge for about 5 days now. I thought It was my period comming early but in fact turned out to just be spotting. I am sexually active and had sex 2 weeks ago, with a condom but read that abnormal bleeding occurs when you could be pregnent? Is this in fact the case? I don't have any symptoms that lead me to believe I am getting my period soon (eg.my boobs don't hurt)..which is suppose to arrive this week. Any advice as to why I have this brown discharge before my period is due would be helpful.

Could be anything honestly. Think back of any changes in stress, activity, diet, sleep, etc.
Pretty much anything change change an otherwise normal cycle.

To be on the safe side take a home test in a couple of weeks. If you used a condom, your chances are VERY VERY slim but a test will at least put your mind at ease. Remember, stressing out over it will only make it come later. Not fair, I know.
