I am 20 and I have had uti since I was 14 everyday. If I drink juice I quickly wash it down with a bottle of water. I am constantly drinking water but lately I have had a very strong smell while urinating, it smells like ammonia X 10000. The smell is horrible, I am constantly spraying after I pee so no one else can smell it. I have had every antibiotic for it from my dr. and it goes away for the time I am on the meds and then comes right back the day I stop. I also have bacterial vaginosis that I have been suffering from since Nov 2007 and have also had every med for that and it wont go away either. I went to the urologist and was supposed to go for a urinary bladder ultrasound but I have not gotten it yet. Have any of you had this?? I am also supposed to get this dye inserted throughout my body to see where the uti is coming from, have any of you had this done??

You might try going to health food store and getting some chlorophyll. I like the liquid but it also comes in a casule or pill. Chlorophyll acts as an internal deodorizer and may reduce or eliminate the smell. At rate it won't hurt you and it just might help so why not give it a try?
