And today morning she called me and said that she forgot to postpone it, and it has started. I was shocked and then she explained me that her menstruation started. As she told me before, she gets extreme pain when having menstruation and that is one reason I took her to see a doctor last week.
We will be travelling about 100km and it would be much cold there where we are going. I don't know what I should do and what I should not do when she is having menstruation. I just want to keep her happy and relaxed and not to make her mode down. So what are DOs & DON'Ts...

Make sure she has any chances to use a bathroom to change pads or tampons and if there isn't going to be a chance for such privacy for awhile make sure she knows it. Nothing more embarassing than leaking around your pad while doing physical activity. It's one of the number one worries when you are on your period and doing things like that. Some warm blankets is a good idea and you may want to bring along reheatable or disposable heat pads like mentioned in case they help but also to help prevent cold. Just sticking the hand warmers in your pocket can help keep you warmer especially if you have an inside pocket to your sweat shirt or jacket. What I wouldn't have given for some the one night I went camping in wisconsin in the spring and we hit 40F at night. Luckily small tent and me plus my 80lb dog who decided to sleep on my camping pad instead of hers. We stayed warmer than some other people despite the silly puppy knocking her portable water bowl on my flannel sheets so I was short one of my blankets.
