It just means you're bleeding only a little, so that the blood doesn't come out straight away.
        The brown discharge is blood.

That's why they say you're pregnant when you get brown discharge.
When you you're pregnant a woman's periods usually stop and they bleed only a little so it doesn't come out straight away. If the blood sits in you it goes brown.

You can have little bleeding when you're not pregnant, i's completely normal.
When you first start your period you can be really irregular and the amount of blood can be different every time. It can take a couple of years before it settles.

          Disco's right!

Sounds to me like everything's going according to "plan," you're slowly but surely getting your first period and at just about the right age. So relax and don't worry.

And I'm gonna tell you this now, and I hope you'll never forget: Don't take what you read online about various symptoms too seriously. There's a lot of misinformation and basically horror stories out there that do not apply to the average person.
