Getting my period way too often
I've been getting my period on average of every week and a half for a few months now. My last one ended last Saturday and come today (Monday) I am on a new one. I am 26 years old. My periods have never been irregular before. I had a pap in September that came back fine. Have not been sexually active since mid-November. I have been under a lot of stress lately but could that be causing it each time? I'm at the point where I don't even care if there is anything wrong so it would be useless seeing a doctor, just wondering if I should possibly prepare for something wrong and am lost. -
Well I'm no doctor but I think it could be a number of things. Did you try to google it?
I'm sorry to hear about your previous bad experiences with doctors but I would really urge you to go if this continues for much longer. Its pretty possible you have just seen the wrong doctors in the past.Comment

Hi Anne,
I started my period at the age of 15 and have never had a regular period. My periods would last for 4-6 month then stop for about 3 month and continue like this I have had to have blood transfusion almost every year. I have been refferd to the hospital for this and no doctor could help me with this and felt hopless and stoped caring about myself. I have had scans after scans and they couldnt find anything. I had a Mirena Coil fitted however i had really bad cramps and couldnt even walk. I had contraction like pain which started making me push and the coil came out. since the coil came out my pain has dissapeard but the period problem was still there. I went to Holland and Barretts and they gave me Primrose Capsuels 1300mg and it made my period regular. Hope this helpsComment

So my doctor won't give me a (renewed from September) script for birth control unless I go in. She knows I can't go in. She knows I am getting periods this frequently. She is telling me to go to a specialist and she knows I can't. At this point, do I just wait to die? Because I feel that is what I am doing...Comment
