      Hey!

I've been having the same problem these past few months. Only have about 2 weeks of break in between periods.

It's most likely caused by a hormonal imbalance. And what was the imbalance caused by? Yes stress could have triggered a change, and you don't have to be stressed every 1.5 weeks for it to continue. Also, it could be your body slightly changing, which is normal for someone in their mid 20s.

My doctor put me on birth control for 3 months to regulate it. I don't think that was a good idea, but I don't have many options in terms of doctors. It hasn't been going so well for me, and besides I am trying to get AWAY from hormonal methods.

I've heard of another poster here mention about getting prescribed some sort of capsules (can't remember the name now) for the same problem and it worked. No birth control pills.

I think another poster was told to take 5 Aleve (sp?) every day for a while since there's something in there that stops menstruation.

Can someone drive you there? Can you take a bus? Etc? If not to the doctor's, can you get to a drug store at least and ask the clerks there for advice?
