Delayed period due to plan b pill, anyone else? advice please

I am 18, just turned on the 21st of february.
On January 4th, the day after i stopped my last period, i hooked up with my friend. I am not on birthcontrol pills, but we did use a condom all 3 times that night. the condom broke during the third time..he didnt cum inside me, but he did on my lower stomach....i was worried some cum could have dribbled inbetween my legs. 12 hours the next day i took plan b. About a week later i experienced about 4 days of bleeding, maybe mixed with a brown discharge. I took that to believe the pill had worked adn totally forgot about it. I decided it was my new cycle and started counting the days after that bleeding and brown discharge. I am now about 11 days late. I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. I have felt all the pre menstral symtoms, and yet there has been no blood. I find it super hard to beleive that i am pregnant. And ive been searching forums and it seems that a lot of women have delayed periods or even missed periods due to taking plan b.

I was wondering if there were any girls out there in the same boat as me...or women who have dealt with this situation and have experienced delays in their period due to taking emergency contraception.

    PLEASE HELP! I'M WORRIED.

Well, let me first say it's never a bad idea to see your doctor when something like this happens. If you're worried you're pregnant, she can run a blood test for you.

Your period is late, outside of the normal variance women can have from period to period. Is this from the hormones (Plan B) you took? Maybe. Is this because you're pregnant? Maybe, but statistically unlikely. Is this because of stress? That'd be my guess.

More likely than not, your period will come. But if you feel like you'd feel better if you saw your doctor, go!

My guess... Stress and Plan B. Take a deep breath and relax. If you haven't started in a week, test again. As always, go to the Dr or at least call and talk to the nurse if you have questions.

If you are worried and stressed it's not going to help get your cycle started. Try not to do endless internet searches either, that always puts all kinds of crazy thoughts in my head. The next thing you know, death is a symptom of a hangnail.

I think stress is definately adding to the delay. I've tried staying away from the computer, taking bubble baths, drinking hot tea, and watching american idol. i just think that if someone could tell me they had a similar experience, i would feel so much better.

I've taken plan B before and it's messed with my cycle. Sometimes it will make your period come at the planned time, sometimes it will come right away and then not again for 6 weeks or so.

I agree with st angel. Stress and the pill is making it later than normal. If you still don't get it in a week, take another test and maybe make a dr appointment. But my guess is that as soon as you stop worrying about it, it will show up.

can we plan "dark days" ahead?

I am having hard time to deal with any problems in PMS days, before period or after. I find this web site that is very interesting for women, and for men to in some way. It's very easy to use and free. Keep track of your cycle on site BodyTimer.com, it's using technology to plan "dark days" and mood swings and be ready for hard time coming. This website gives an easy way to track your PMS, periods and other cycles. I just want to share a good finding! Maybe it'll help some...

                I took a Plan B...

And I'm having a constant period since about 2 days afterward. It lightened up about a week after it started and then started back up again heavier than before. I hate messing with my hormones!! UGH the only thing that makes this easier is my recent change to the Diva cup and Instead Cup for sex. If I had to deal with this with tampons and pads I would be going crazy.
