I'm a seventeen year old girl from India and when I was a one-year old baby, because of some genetic disease, I had my ovaries and uterus removed. My parents only broke the news to me when I was fifteen years old, and they did it so awkwardly, after I waited so long for my first period I never even had it explained properly. My mom had taken me to gynecologist when I was 11 and after checking my vagina and breast, she prescribed hormonal tablets (PROGYNOVA 1 mg) which I've been taking every night for development...
I've tried ignoring the whole thing for the past two years, not letting it get to me, but recently I've starting thinking about it all and I'm feeling so low because I have no one to discuss it with or explain things to me. My parents decided to hide this from everybody, and have never brought it up in front of me again. Occasionally I've tried approaching the subject, but it's always been ended so abdruptly. I feel like I don't even know my body...

So I have certain questions that I decided to post on this forum!
1.) What are the physical symptoms of having no ovaries?
2.)Will I develop masculine traits?
3.) Is it possible for me to have sex?
4.)And lately, I've been thinking of it so much, I really really want to have a baby of my own, and it's getting me so depressed
I mean, why me? I didn't even have a chance to try...Is there any hope for me still? What's going on with transplants, stem cells and in vitro culture? Can I positively hope for medical advancement in the next ten years? Is there any possible to way to create an artificial ovary with my genes?
And how common is this problem of infertility? What about among men..
It's so very hard
I'm glad you took the time to read this, or even answer it.Thank you very very much.
