my cycle's all over the place...help??

    Hi,
I'm 15 years old and began having periods at the age of 13. at the beginning i didnt have a set date for the start of my periods, sometimes there would be at least 8 weeks between them. it seemed to settle down, presumably as my body got used to it. however, last month i was quite ill - i was bed bound for a week - with some sort of virus. then, the next week i went skiing with my family. on the first day of our holiday i started my period - it was a week to 2 weeks early, but i thought nothing of it. it lasted the usual 5 days and then stopped. yesterday i got home from work and i found blood in my knickers. im now having my second period in the space of about 3 weeks. im under A LOT of stress at the moment, i have big exams coming up and am revising everyday. im also under stress due to relationships and friendship problems.
i dont know what to do as, for the last year or so, ive have very regular periods, always starting on exactly the same day and lasting the same duration.
i dont know whether to go to my doctor, or to just sit it out.
    Please help!!

Sweet, there is alot to say about that word.... STRESS....

What you have to do is sort out the problems, exams we can't help with, boyfriend problems, I guess you mean this guy you like Girlfriends, well what is happening there? Maybe we can help.

Try deep breathing whenever you feel stressed... And, maybe if you can a 10 minute walk as well.

stress is such a HUUUUGE thing for affecting periods.
as long as you're sure that you're not pregnant or anything like that
its something that you just have to sit out.

like CW said, sorting out the other problems will almost certainly sort out this one.
is there anything we can help with?
