i am new to this sitge but so happy to finally find something that is exactly the symptoms ive been having. I am going on over two years now and have done most of the treatments mentioned. Most recent findings with new dr, was possible lichen planus, unfortunatly the vulva specialist does not accept my insurance and the dr who stated it was lichen planus, just left it at that, said sorry, your insurance is not accepted there. I am trying to get authorization to go since they are the only one of it's kind where i live. Has anyone had any luck with the discharge going away? That is probably my biggest issue and this is destroying my relationship if it hasnt already. -

Can I ask what you symtoms were? Ive been dealing with something similar for nearly 6 months and I have no answer.. clearly something is wrong, but doctors insist that there is not. This started with feeling very dry and irritated and felt like my insides were falliing out, I had never had a yeast infection, and thought maybe that is what was happening. I went to the doctor and she did an exam and culture, and treated me for yeast with diflucan (just in case) Those cultures came back and everything was normal and i tested negative for any STD/STI's. The only thing she said that I had group B strep, and she treated me with penicillan. The symtom continued and gost worse, now i had a white discharge, but it wasnt thick like yeast, so i went back, had another culture done, this time i was treated for BV with Flagyl. Those culture results came back and they were clear, didnt even show that i actually had BV. So I decided maybe i should try to go to a gyno becuase i was going to my family doctor before. They cultured and said it appeared to be normal, and said nothing is wrong. By this time the discharge changed to be a yellow is green buggar type of discharge and changed back to a white pasty discharge at times. It isnt anything excessive, it doesnt come out, its just there. It seems to dry up everything, even my normal lubricants, which have allways been great. I feel discusting and dirty knowing that something is wrong yet all the doctors ive been to say its just my body changing. This is anything but normal, Ive came across a ton of posts with women with the same problem and no answer. I was going to try the medication you list, but want to be sure more of your symtoms first.. Thanks!Comment

Almost sounds like trichomoniasis a very common STD. the only way to tell you have it is if you get your pee sent in to a lab. I had if for a few years and had no idea because the symptoms come and go. one day your burning and itching the next day nothing. and there was a very strong odor I would take a shower like twice a day and it wouldn't go away.Comment
