Feeling scared of being on my period for more than a week
Okay I've been feeling scared. Last week i got my period and now here it is Tuesday and my period is still heavy, I was seeing some blood clots too. I had skipped my period for three months. I am not sexually active and my periods have always been irregular. I can't remember if I had gone through this before I might have but if my period doesn't end by the end of this month I might have to go into my doctor's office but in the meantime does anyone have any idea what could be wrong or if it's an easy fix? I do have a lot of stress and my sleeping habits are terrible so I don't know if that could be a part of it or not.

Sorry can't help you there, the only advise i can give is take food with Iron to help you, my mom had something similar (she had some masses though, and aproched menopose) but since she beld a lot, the doc told her to boost her iron intake ... she takes meds (coz she hates red meat) but it would at least prevent anemia

Thanks like I said any type of advice will be most helpful. I hope my doctor will call me back soon. I told her secretary I didn't have a way to get to her office today or the money to so I hope she will call. My doctor is sensible about issues like this. I remember her once telling me that I should get my periods at least 4 times a year and if not that I should call her immediately. But this time my period has lasted for more than 7 days and it's concerning me.
I dunno if it's because I missed my period for three months that's causing the heavy bleeding?
