Sex on period... Pregnant?
So, my fiancée and I had sex while I was ony period with no condom. I have been on the pill for 5 years. My last regular pill I took was about 60 hours ago and I expect to get my period tonight or tomorrow. Can I still get pregnant? Should I take the morning after pill??
Please help!!! -
You know what... I just wrote something and deleted. Hang on gotta research.
Edit: Right. So I was ALWAYS under the assumption that you CANNOT get pregnant during the inactive pills. That you are still protected. At least... as protected as you are during the regular pills, anyway.
But I've just googled this and came up with a bunch of "speculations" that contradict themselves, so honestly I don't know the answer now.
I do know, that I have taken birth control for YEARS and have never even considered using a back up method during the inactive pills and have been fine. -
I'm with Mes on this. There is speculation regarding everything.
However, I was on the pill for 11-12 years and never used any other form of BC, backup, nothing.
I'm not a fan of taking the morning after pill while also being on your regular BC pill, that's screaming for some serious hormonal mess with your body.
Have faith in your pill, my guesses, you are absolutely fine.Comment
