I am 27 years old. Same boyfriend for the last 5 years. My normal cycle is every 32 days... the first 2 days are very heavy with cramps and then it lightens up a bit. My period usually lasts a total of 5-6 days. I always get my period like clockwork. It always the same. Currently, I just started my own business - meaning I do not have health insurance or a lot of money. Here's the story - please advice. Thank you.
April 2, 2010 2am - woke up in the middle of the night with extremely painful menstrual cramps. I crawled to the bathroom and curled up on the floor. I was in so much pain. I took pain meds. Crawled into the shower and let hot water fall on my belly, which helped. When it felt better, I crawled out of the shower and got sick. I had diarrhea. I thought my period was going to start any minute, but it didn't. I wasn't due for another week. I went back to bed around 5am. The cramps had stopped. Period never came.
April 9, 2010 - I am lightly spotting. Brownish light bleeding only when I wipe. This continues for 7 days. Then completely stops for two days. My breasts are so painful at this point I want to tear them off. Headaches are constant. Then when I am about to take a pregnancy test, I start bleeding heavily with clots for 2-3 days.
End of April - I start getting what smells like a yeast infection. Over the counter meds do not work. Maybe its a BV. I do everything everyone says to do. I eat yogurt, cotton panties, keep it dry and all that stuff. The smell continues. I continue to have headaches on and off. My sinuses are bad. I am tired. I can't focus.
May - Sinuses continue to be bad. Headaches. Breasts sore only when touched, but seem huge. BV seems to go away for the most part. My acne is out of control. Huge zits on my chin, neck, back, forehead... awful.
May 12 - I start my "period". It is light again. Huge mood swings. Depression. Sore boobs. headache. I have an extremely light period for 7 days. I only see any blood when I wipe and its brownish. Then I had exactly 2 days of medium bleeding. Then it was completely stopped by May 22nd.
Last 3 days - Smelly dischrage BACK. I started eating yogurt again.. cotton panties.. etc. My sinuses are awful! Sinus headaches. Also, severe bloating to the point the my stomach is pouched out and hard. I am extremely gassy. I have awful stomach cramps. Sometime on the left upper side, sometimes all over, sometime low. I am constipated then have diarrhea. I cannot suck my stomach in. Its weird.
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with me? Could a severe BV cause any of this? Could it be a food allergy causing all of this? Stress? Pregnancy? Cancer?
Like I said I do not have health insurance or a ton of money right now. So I only want to see a doctor if it is serious and I cannot treat it at home. Thanks for your help in advance.
