Its Friday and doctor never called. Is that good?

I don't know what to think- went to the doctor because I was feeling sick all the time and my feet are swelling and Im bloated. Also I was 50 days late for AF and the same day I went to the doctor for bloodwork I started to bleed for 1 day with some small blood clots and lots of back pain. The next 2 days I only spotted. Definitely not normal for me as I go 5 days also. 3 days after bloodwork I had an appt for an ultrasound which nothing was said to me or asked of me. I have no clue. 4 days after ultrasound and bloodwork- Im still waiting for results. My feat are still swollen, I don't feel good, no energy and now I have this pulling pressure feeling on my right side below my ribs.
    Anyone else with any ideas?
    Thank you

Sometimes gotta push Doc's for information, be a little agressive when it comes to your care. Before any test is done, someone should explain why it's necessary and what is being looked for. They owe you the test results and the interpretation of those results as soon as they are available.

Remember, you are the ultimate 'decider' when it comes to any health care actions. The Doc's and nurses and such work for you, no less than the plumber you get to fix your toilet or the kid who mows your lawn.

Try not to worry, stress can make things worse. I know my doctors surgery never call me after tests even when they've got something to discuss with me, they always wait until I call them. They might not actually have your results with them yet either.

Lab work can take up to two weeks or more to get to a doctor. The ultrasound can take just as long. And sometimes when nothing is wrong a doctor may not call unless you ask because medically there is nothing to be alarmed about. Even then some doctors may not release information over the phone for legal reasons so you may need to book an appointment to go over all the information.
