I'm scheduled to have a laparoscopy for endometriosis next month and i'm really nervous. I'm trying to conceive and it wasn't working so they suspected this was the problem. I was wondering if anyone has had this procedure and if it worked for them or not? Thanks

Yes. I have. Honestly, I didn't notice much of a difference. I think it may have helped in the long term to get all that stuff out of there. But sometimes I think it was just wasted money.
Do you have all the symptoms of endo? Cramps, etc? What really worked for me was acupuncture and progesterone cream.

Yes I have all the symotoms and my mom had endometriosis too. She got the surgery and she conceived right after. I heard it doesn't work for everybody I just wonder how many people it does work for.

I've had one done before because of a cyst on my ovary. If you are trying to get pregnant, try the dye study I got pregnant everytime after one, because it cleans out your tubes. Mucus can build up in your tubes not allowing the egg to drop.

Oh by the way it's very painful but it goes away quik after the study is done.
