    Ovulation Question

Does every woman ovulate 14 days before her next period or could it be that you can ovulate 16 days before or maybe 12 just curious?

    ovulation...

You should ovulate on or around the 14th day after the first day of your last period.

      However...

You'd ovulate around the 14th day if you were on a 28 day cycle (that is, 28 days from the date your period begins until the date before your next period begins). Not everyone has a 28 day cycle. You could chart dates when your period begins for a few months to see, on average, how long your cycle is. Some women have fewer days, some have more. Plus your period could start earlier or later depending stress or other factors. But generally speaking, ovulation occurs around the middle date of your cycle.
