Anyone knows the cause of UTI's?

I was wondering what might be the cause, I know I should search on internet but I am kinda lazy for now, hehe..

According to my experience... when having sex if me n bf do the wrong position like spooning, I get the feeling to urinate (while some say thats a GSPOT he hits, I say it's totally untrue! I mean how come you call it a GSPOT when you feel uncomfortable sensation to urinate? it's just doesnt make sense to me)

and if we keep doing the spooning for days for example and I keep acting it's ok.. after a couple of days I get UTI... frequent peeing, awful urinate sensation, and when it gets bad I pee blood and it's so painful.. I even once peed in public cuz I cant hold my pee.. that was too embarassing... luckily I was wearing a dark short pants and the fabric is ok with liquid so people didnt notice.. argh... shameful...!

I treated myself with antibiotics n drink alot of water n alot of rests.. I was healed.. but I get paranoid everytime I have sex.....

Anyone has the same problem? what might be the cause? thanks.

I used to get them all the time until I learned the whole pee before and after sex trick! As soon as the boyfriend and I are finished, I go pee, even if I have to sit there for a few minutes. Ever since then, I have not had one UTI!

The gspot is all tangled up with the urethra and nerves from various areas. That's one reason it took awhile for scientists to identify it and why it's still argued whether it exists. It's not an easy spot to sort things out from. Some of the liquid and proteins that would go to the bladder also are what make up female ejaculate so there is some connection.

Some women (including all in my family) also have a sensitive urethra. If it's irritated too much you will have some discomfort urinating and trouble holding back urine but without the real pain or other symptoms like a UTI, negative tests, and it will get better with time instead of worse. My sister was thoroughly tested because it always happens to her and they found nothing. I've been to the doctor once for it after having sex about 10 times in 3 days plus rough fingering. No infection was found and I was prescribed Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride. It's a dye that also dumbs the urinary tract. Instant fix. Recently it was made available over the counter by azo or by the name of uristat. Not to be used long term or you'll not only possibly hide a serious problem but you can dye your eyes yellow. For 2-3days though it works perfect and stops the incontinence caused by the irritation. Best guess is it's just an anatomical defect with everything lined up wrong and the wrong position or rough handling near the top of the vaginal opening results in the muscles not receiving the proper signals.

        Thanks for the info, Kira,

oh so if I get the UTI's symptoms still doesn't mean I am having UTI? What happened to you, I mean what did you feel after 10 times for 3 days LOL. some burning sensation + blood came out when urinating?

Uristat can be the fast cure then? I will try to look for it. Have you tried taking cranberry pills? they say it can make your bladder wall slippery so the bacteria wont stick on it. I think I took it but I didnt see a big difference at that time, it healed with antibiotics n drink tons of water...

woah, I drank a bottle of water while sitting in toilet and I peed like every minute after I drink, until I finished the bottle, I was freaked out it was like my bladder has no function at all, ha.
