    Post-Laparoscopy Complications... HELP!

Had my first lap. a week and a half ago... all the pain is gone, cuts are healing (after an infection to one of them) and all is going well except one thing. It hurts to pee!! Not like the pain of a bladder infection, I've had those plenty of times. This is like someone is stabbing me in the stomach while I pee, and a few minutes afterwards it'll go away and I'll be fine til next time. It's been going on since the day of my lap and hasnt improved at all...

Anyone ever have this happen or have any clue as to whats going on? Did my doctor mess something up in there?

I've had a couple of laps and never had that problem. Call your doctor asap and see if you can get back in for a checkup.

Thanks everyone, I had a feeling this didn't usually happen! I called my surgeon/gynecologist and she said it wasn't her problem (even though she's the one who was in there...?) and to go to either a walk-in clinic or my family doctor. Ughhh, doctors! They drive me crazy! It's still there alright... it'll be two weeks tomorrow so hopefully I'll get into a duty clinic tonight. I thought it might have been an infection, but if it was... it wouldn't be there still because I've been on antibiotics for a week for the incision infection.

Not her problem?! What? Get into another doctor ASAP, that's just negligent on her part.
