I, too am always very turned on during my period. I use to be the one with the problem with having sex while on my period. It didn't seem natural to me. My fiance talked to me one day letting me know that he didn't have a problem with it and that when I was comfortable he would be willing to have sex. Maybe you should talk to your boyfriend and let him know what you're feeling. Communication could really help..

The only tip I can give about inserting the Instead cup is "don't give up" lol~~it took me about three cycles to really get the hang of it (felt very, very awkward at first, like I wasn't pushing it up high enough).

Also, in the beginning, I would run warm water from the sink over it, then squat down and insert it that way. Now I can insert it while on the toilet and without water. It just takes a while to get used to~~but I love them because you really have no sign of having your period and can therefore enjoy all the sexual things you normally do!
