I just experienced severe pain in my lower abdomen also. It was so bad that I did end up going to the ER for it. I was told that it was a cyst on my ovary that had burst and the pain was from the fluid floating around. It takes a couple days for the body to correct itself and the pain is horrible. I was in so much pain that they gave me morphine in my IV. My pain was also on the right side. The doctor told me that it is something that some girls experience every month or every few months and that there is nothing to do but tough out the pain. My pain lasted about 4 days. Just thought I would share that and hope it helps someone!

I get severe pain in my ovaries when I'm ovulating. Does your pain coincide with your ovulation schedule?
