Hi my name is brittany and i am 18 years old last year on july 2009 was my last depo shot then i quit getting them. After that last shot i was not on my period for 8 months. My period started up in march of this year of 2010. At first my period was seeming like it was back to normal then i would start bleeding every two weeks. Now starting at the beginning of july 2010 up to now which is august 7,2010 i have been bleeding constantly nonstop and its bleeding heavier than any other time in my life. When i go to the bathroom clots of blood big and small run out of me all night and day, and when i go to the bathroom gushes of blood rush out of me making the toilet water red as cherry juice. I don't know what to do i went to the hospital they took my blood count and they said everything was regular and i wasn't pregnant so i don't know what else could be wrong with me. Can somebody that has a good idea of whats going on with my body please help me before it gets any worse than what it is now.

Probably the best thing you could do is get in for a check up with your Dr. That is definitely not normal, so you'll need your Dr's help in getting it under control. They may want to put you on the pill to see if it helps control the bleeding at all.

i did go to the doctors they said my blood tests were normal and they said im bleeding because i stopped the shot but i know thats not the reason for all this blood coming out of me.

Request an ultrasound. You could have a cyst or something that is causing the bleeding. Your last depo shot was over a year ago, they seem pretty quick to brush it under the rug for something that happened that long ago.
