    worried.

I'm 17 years old and have had many changes in my period for the last 4 cycles. It will come as planned with the usual symptoms: headaches, constipation, tiredness, irritability, bloating, and increased acne. It usually lasts 3-4 days.
The only difference now is a very light flow, when originally it was always very heavy.
Today, my light period was coming to an end, but after running a few miles I found a consistent bleeding.
In the last 4 months I have gone through a tough breakup, lost twelve pounds, and cardio exercise almost every day. Is this enough to cause such a change?

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I am 21 and still haven't 'regulated'.

I agree with BasketCase. I'm twenty and have never been regular. My period comes somewhere in between 28 and 50 days. I never know when it's going to be. It's normally very very heavy but sometimes [very rarely] it's very very light and I don't even realize it's there sometimes. Plus the stress, the weight loss and the exercise can change things as well. If it persists and you continue to worry about it, you should see a doctor though...
