Could this be an std? yeast infection? uti? or menstrual?

    Hi guys.

Lately I've been having light yellow-liquidy discharge, very itchy. And if I scratch hard I make my self bleed very, very lightly. And it would sometimes burn when I urinate.

I'm not swollen, no bumps, no odor, or anything. Just very itchy and a slight burn. I am about to get my period in a few days..but this has never occurred before!

I'm a little freaked out because I heard it could be trich. I also heard it could be a yeast infection or a uti.

Does this sound like it can be any of the above? Also, when I had sex it was the first time he ejaculated in me I took the emergency contraceptive pills that I had...not sure if that might have a play in this..?

Sorry to hear you're having issues! I would definitely get it checked out asap. Even if it turns out to be nothing, at least you know! It's hard for us on here to give you an idea of what it could be.

I'm no doctor, but bacterial vaginosis sounds like it could be at least one possibility. Just a guess. You had said it was the first time your boyfriend ejaculated inside you and semen can disrupt the sensitive vaginal environment. It happened to me before, so it was the first thing that popped in my head.

Yeast infections, BV, trich and chlamydia can all have similar symptoms, so please go get checked out!

      Thanks for your response, Stina!

I never thought that was a possibility, you're the second person to tell me it can be bacterial vaginosis. I have started to notice though, discharge is regular, itch has lessened, and no burning sensation. So I'm starting to feel a little more relaxed, still not getting over my head though.

I'm going to my doctor next Monday, and I'm definitely bringing this to his attention. Hopefully, it's nothing bad or serious.

      Thanks again!
