HELP PLEASE! very scared...
so last night my boyfriend and i had sex (a couple times) and today i noticed i was kinda itchy down there and that wasn't too surprising considering i had on tight jeans all day while working so i was sweating which usually makes me itchy until i showered. so anyways i showered and after i thought i had cut myself shaving because my labias were burning well i looked and one of my labias was swollen about the size of a peanut in it shell!!!! i am really scared and worried i know its not an std because not only have i been with the same man for 4 years but i have also been tested regularly so if anyone can offer some advice i would really love to not go to the er tonight... now i know this has nothing to do with periods but i didnt know where else to turn -
Also, you state you suffer from itchiness, from jeans
Tight jeans can cause thrush.. Thrush is horrid, it makes us itchy and it makes that part of our body swell out badly... Embarrasing.
If you used lube, you could be alergic to it.. That can cause itchiness too and also swelling...
If you had a tad of thrush and was dryer than usual when he penetrated, you would get what you've just described...
Grab some canesten cream from the Chemist to start with, and if they have it, an oral tablet, take that it can't hurt you and put the cream down below... It should clear within 24 - 48hrs..
Also discuss "sensitivity" down there with lubes if you use lubes, some of them are shockers and you can be allergic as advised and swell within a few hours and itch... ask what one you can use that is okay for you...
Hope that helps.
