    Burning and pain

So right now I am currently on my period and I've noticed that it burns when I go to the bathroom and hurts when I wipe when I'm done. Sex has been less than pleasurable lately as well.

About a month ago I bought myself a new bike so I could get an exercise regimen started. Within the first week, it hurt like crazy down there so bad that my fiance and I couldn't have sex and it hurt really bad to use the bathroom. It stopped hurting about a week and a half later when I bought myself a new seat and I haven't had anymore pain when I ride.

The last few times my fiance and I have had sex, it has hurt pretty bad. It hurts when he enters me and then when we get into it, it stops. Then when I use the bathroom afterwards, it burns and then hurts for a while after. The last time we did it (this past Sunday or so) it didn't hurt as bad as it had.

My period just started yesterday and it didn't start out heavy like it usually does (i'm on birth control and it still gets heavy but not like it used to). Now I am just experiencing the burning when I use the bathroom and when I'm done but nothing else. I've looked up Urinary Tract Infections but I only have one symptom. I also looked at Yeast Infections but none of those symptoms match my problem. If the pain during sex hasn't stopped after my period is over, I'm going to the doctor but has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone else ever have the problem of burning while on their period?

Any advice/help would be appreciated. I'm not looking for a diagnoses or anything like that. I just want to know if anyone else has dealt with this and what their experiences/ recovery was like.

I think the bike seat has irritated your skin and possibly the nerves in the skin too. Bike seats aren't particularly good for the vulvar because of the amount of pressure they place on the soft tissue. Do you have any redness of the skin? If you're still using the bike, even with the new seat, I'd suggest stopping for a month or so to see what effect that has and if the pain continues it's probably a good idea to get your pelvic floor tested for spasm, pain in the vulvar can make the pelvic floor spasm and without retraining it it doesn't calm down on its own so the pain persists after the initial problem has gone. Also sex while in pain will cause pelvic floor spasms too so it's better to avoid sex while in pain for this reason.

If you experienced pain and burning from urination I would think you had an infection but with the pain being after, this sounds like tissue damage or an external inflamation.
It sounds like the new bike seat may be helping but give your body some time to recover. How about switching it up sexually and exploring how far you can arouse and satisfy each other without actual intercourse.

My previous bike seat was narrow and had no padding at all. The tip of the seat was actually rubbing it raw which is why I switched to a new bike seat. The seat I have now is actually wider and softer and doesn’t rub up against me like the other.

The pain is during urination even after sex and now during my period. I also get pain right as he enters me but I am fine when we really get into it and it feels normal and then the pain returns after when I go to the bathroom.

As for something other than sex, I give him blowjobs constantly. He’s like addicted to them and it’s starting to bother me. He’s probably received one everyday for the last week and it’s starting to bother me because I get nothing in return. He even tells me I’ve barely done it when I’ve done it almost every day. It would just be nice to either not do anything at all or be able to do stuff and we both get something. He’s told me my mood has changed, that I’m less playful and I’ve been more irritable and well, for good reason. He’s the one being pleasured and I can’t do anything because of the pain.

I’ve looked down there as well as him and neither of us have seen any redness or anything like that.
