swollen inside vagina with no pain or itching

Me and my husband haven't had sex for around a week. Yesterday i woke up and took a shower with soap that i usually use. By the end of the day I start filing slight discomfort inside my vagina, like if i had something inside, i tried to put my finger inside but it was too tight and swollen. It doesn't hurt or itch, the lips are not swollen or red. So today it's the second day and it is still the same. Before going to a doctor I was wondering may be there is some non prescription medication or cream that i can use?

Did you try taking some ibuprofen? It will help with the discomfort and is also an antimflamatory. Might help for the time being, but I would see a doctor if I were you. Just to be sure. Maybe you're allergic to something. Possibly a fabric from your underwear, a new laundry detergent, toilet paper, or if you use any vibrators, something like that. Still see your doctor though.

It can still be thrush, from being dry, wearing stockings, tight jeans, hormones, ......

The little spot can also be a wart, not trying to scare you but you should now that you can see it, have an examination

Well if all turns out okay with your physical exam then maybe they will have you track which fabrics you were, lubes, foods you eat, all that stuff and possibly narrow down what could be causing the discomfort. Chandlers Wish is right though. It can be from wearing thongs or tight jeans. Lots of things can irritate the skin sometimes.
