    Help me.. still bleeding!!

I had a very difficult 43 hour labour, I did have a episiotomy, and was clotting very badly, but docs sent me home 2 days after birth and had to be taken back before i even got to spend a night a home, and they discovered i had a huge piece of placenta that hadn't been removed....

its now 8 weeks after i gave birth to my DD and i have still been bleeding some days its reasonably light other days, its as though i have a period, the docs don't seem to be concerned but just in last 2 days though its becoming heavier, i do breastfeed exclusively and this is my first, should i still be losing so much continuous red blood after birth? could it be a period? or is there something wrong? it just wont stop.....

I had two c-section births and bled for 6-8 weeks after birth. So, it doesn't seem that odd to me, but if you are concerned, I'd at least call the Dr's office again and just talk to a nurse just to ask again and make sure they are not concerned.

I had two children naturally and this sounds like bleeding way too long. Go in and see your doctor, be specific about your concerns. You might want to start taking cayenne to help with the bleeding and healing and chlyrophyll to keep from getting anemic.
