Continously bleeding
Hi, Ok i got the depo shot Back in January on the 29th, and havent got it agian iv been bleeding ever since so that would be 8 months. Just 5 days ago i stopped bleeding and now im spotting brown discharge and have been these past 5 days My boobs have gotten firmer and im having slight cramps. Im really worried that something might be wrong cause 8 months is a long time. I went to the doctors about a couple months ago and she just said wait till my period stops then take bc. -

I'd be rushing to a drug store to buy a pregnancy test. But I'm paranoid like that. Anytime I feel an ounce of breast pain or get sick in the morning - I immediately assume I'm knocked up. So far, I've been wrong everytime haha.
But better to cover your bases. I have heard that depo can have funky effects. I've never taken it myself because I think that's a lot of estrogen to pump in my body at once and I'm already craaazy. I would be a bit concerned though. It isn't normal to continually bleed for so long. I am having issues right now with bleeding when I shouldn't even whilst on the pill. It may be related to my anemia, skipping periods for months and months and the fact I have some cervical cell issues going on right now. I plan to go off bc to test it out for a few months.
Back to you though - go to your doc again. Make sure they know you're concerned and get some answers. Oh yeah, buy that pregnancy test too! Who knows. Maybe you'll end up on TLC "I didn't know I was pregnant". -
