    Infection and Irregular Spotting/Bleeding

Can a yeast or bacterial infection cause a person to spot/lightly bleed off and on in between periods? And cause cramping?
(I've been battling this for months and I KNOW there is infection down below.)

hi im not sure but i would go and see the doctor to see what it might be? you could have a polyp not saying you have but that is normally a sign.

Yes, a vaginal infection can cause spotting between periods.

I feel like I am the only one who is experiencing spotting with it. I've searched all over this board and can't find others that have experienced it.

I've had BV for over a year and a half and it definitely has messed with my cycle. I think it more so has to do with the stress that it has caused, but who knows.

I've had spotting before with a yeast infection - you're not alone! It freaked me out too because I'm pretty regular, but once I treated the infection, the spotting stopped.

You can also experience spotting occasionally if you're ovulating.

Sometimes it is bright red, dark red, or light pink. Is that normal? I have spotted every day this month (a few times a day) and not had my period yet. No chance of pregnancy at all.

The color will vary, nothing to worry about. When it gets dark, that's just old blood making it's way out.

Ugh. I am discouraged. I've been on FemDopholis for 9 days, the past few days things have improved drastically. Pain has almost gone away, smelly watery discharge has improved, spotting/lightly bleeding had improved.....and then BAM.....without warning or pain, I go pee and I start lightly bleeding bright red from my vagina for like 30 seconds. And now it's just pink spotting.
I am soooooo tired of this!
