I came off the pill a month ago because it was making me crazy and this is my first period since I stopped taking it. I've always had terrrrible cramps but the ones I'm having now are different its across the whole of my lower abdomen and in the bottom of my back too, along with the usual cramps. The reason I think it may me endometriosis is because my Eldest sister has it and I'm wondering if it could increase my chances?
This new pain is where I'd describe my ovaries as being too :/ where my hipe/pelvic bone is, both sides too


Really hope it isn't. For god'sake, I dont want some weird little man poking around my privates

My cramps got worse when I came off BC control too. I would imagine your siter having it does increase your chances, maybe you should get checked? I had the pain your decribing when I had a kidney infection, but I couldnt stand up straight the pain was so bad.

I thought about it being a kidney infection but it only hurts as my cramps start hurting

Hmm, I dont know then. Could you ring your GP and ask over the phone? You could always leave it until your period ends and then if you still have it go to the doctors?
