Spotting and Discharge OR Blood-tinged Discharge???
If a person spotted first, then months later started experiencing thin discharge (that smells)......how can one tell if the 2 are mixing and making the discharge look blood-tinged? Cause it's not constant, like the majority of the time the discharge has no signs of blood."Natural Hippy Mama" -
They can be separate issues. Spotting can simply be spotting, all women experience it. Discharge again all women experience it. We will all have a clear or white discharge around ovulation and our period it is really no big deal. The time to have concerns is if the discharge is white and chunky, green/yellow mucus like, or has a smell accompanied by itching, swelling, redness, soreness, or burning. In that case it is likely an infection which needs to be treated by a doctor. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy. -
Mine has been going on for a while, as this is new to me. I didn't realize what it was until it got worse. They can be separate issues. Spotting can simply be spotting, all women experience it. This is gross and probably TMI, but I finally collected the discharge in a clear glass (drops of it). It's a yellow/tan/gray looking, thin/almost cloudy, and my husband said it smells like dead fish/must.
I experience itching on the outside of the labia/genitals. But I have eczema and thought it was that.
I also have had pain after peeing. Pelvic pain. Irregular light bleeding."Natural Hippy Mama"Comment

Yeast does have cottage cheese-like texture. The green/yellow/brown 'snot' looking stuff is often a bacterial infection. Either way, both can be treated by visiting a doctor. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

I'm 32, not on BC as husband is fixed. I have 5 kids. I am also about 50 pounds overweight. Never had any issues before these. And severe anxiety/depression. My periods have been pretty normal, occassional spotting but mainly at ovulation time.
Mine started as a yellowish/Grayish super thin discharge, it's not clear but more cloudy I guess. Then more spotting started happening, especially after a BM. Then actually light bleeding at ovulation time. Then periods were light but lasting longer. And now Im confused cause it *seems* like it's getting better. (I started taking Iron, acidophilus, vitamin c, and just started on folic acid)
I haven't seen a doctor basically because I am homebound with anxiety.
You seem to have more bleeding and I seem to have more discharge.
Is your bleeding light?"Natural Hippy Mama"Comment
