    Ugh.....another cyst??

I may be speaking prematurely, but I think I have another cyst. I've had two previously....ironically, one was in December last year, and the other was in December the year before. I know there's no correlation there, but it's just an annoying fact. haha. About a week after when I should have last ovulated, I had sex for the first time in 8-9 months. Any deep penetration was oddly painful. I thought maybe it was because it had been so long. But the next time, same thing. I'm within a few days of when I should start, and we had sex again last night. Again any deep penetration was painful but this time the pain has continued into today. Mostly focused on the left side like my other ones have been. Hurts when I sit down in a certain way (like on the toilet).

I really have no real purpose in posting....maybe to see if anyone else goes through this. I'm not on hormonal BC anymore, and I'm praying cysts don't become more of an issue because I know the first thing OBGYNS recommend is the pill.

Can anyone relate? Is there anything I can do?

Misty, mine usually just goes away on it's own. The ones I have are obviously small and typically once I have my period I'm fine. I'm just now going off my period, and haven't had sex yet to see if it hurts or not still. But I have an appt with my OBGYN on the 20th for my annual, so if I"m still hurting I'm going to talk to him about it.

Not having insurance is very tough, but honestly, your health is the most important thing. I think it's really important that you think about getting in to an OBGYN for a checkup and to discuss this. If the cyst is large enough, it may not go away on its own and could cause you all kinds of difficulties.

As far as burning when urinating, no I have not encountered that with a cyst. I don't think that's a typical symptom of a cyst though I could be wrong. Fullness in the abdomen could definitely be a result of the cyst though.

Like I said, do what you have to do to see to it you get into a gynocologist as soon as possible. I think you really need to get a good check up and talk with him/her about what's going on.
