    Unbearable Periods

I have very painful period, its very unbearable it does not work with pain killers and i certainly cannot exercise when in pain. i have seen doctors before who prescribe more pain killers, last time i was in consistent pain for 5 hours and the doctor gave me Valium injection to relax me which i am afraid only seemed to have an effect 2 hours latter.
he latter advised that i should have a baby . . is this right, we are not ready to have a baby yet.
i also have a longer period 7 days at least, please advice anyone.

This might initially sound like bad advice but hear me out...

Have you tried cannabis? I use marijuana to treat menstrual pain with a 90% rate of success. My periods are typically extremely painful and actually make me ill (dizziness, paleness, nausea, extreme fatigue). If you are unsure about smoking it, you can eat it as well. I usually bake cannacookies, the chocolate chips work well for those period induced chocolate cravings.

Oh dear me, sure it's natural, can relieve pain but let me tell you, 1) can stuff your mind full time.....more you take more your brain goes haywire.....you get paranoid, can't focus.....

        It's also addictive.

It's also not good if you ever want to try for a baby.....

Don't try this advice, I was 20 odd once And I've seen the results of constant use.............from others.

Your symptoms sound similar to those I have been experiencing for the past 5 years with my endometriosis. Has your doctor done an internal exam since this pain has occurred? Prior to my diagnosis, I was seeing a doctor who would just prescribe pain meds for my unbearable pain and then i went to a new obgyn who was able to assist me with my pain through a few different methods of treatment. By telling you to have a baby, it does sound like endo because that's what my doc told me to do as well because then your not have your period so your not having the pain.
